How it works

1. Activate Will by tapping it, reducing the cost of all white and/or blue spells you cast this turn by at least 5.
2. Cast Whispers of the Muse with buyback by paying due to Will's ability.
3. Deekah triggers, creating a 0/0 Fractal creature token, and then putting a +1/+1 counter on the Fractal.
4. Resolve Whispers of the Muse, causing you to draw a card and return it to your hand.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Fractal, adding .
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop starts by using Will, Scion of Peace to massively discount your white and/or blue spells based on life you've gained, dropping the cost of Whispers of the Muse down to just its base blue mana requirement. Once cast, Deekah, Fractal Theorist triggers off the spell to forge a growing Fractal token, providing the raw material needed to feed into Phyrexian Altar. Sacrificing that freshly made token to the Altar generates the exact mana needed to recast Whispers of the Muse—which conveniently returns straight to your hand thanks to its buyback cost—allowing you to churn through your entire deck while endlessly scaling your token army and fueling your storm count.
