How it works

  1. Cast Aang, Airbending Master by paying 2W mana
  2. When Aang, Airbending Master enters, it triggers, airbending Aang, the Last Airbender
  3. Cast Aang, the Last Airbender from exile by paying 0.
  4. When Aang, the Last Airbender enters, it triggers, airbending Aang, Airbending Master.
  5. Cast Aang, Airbending Master from exile by paying 0.
  6. Repeat from step 2.

This mesmerizing loop relies on the alternate casting costs granted by "airbending," which lets you recast the exiled permanents for just {2}—or in this case, for free when further cost-reduction makes it possible. As Aang, Airbending Master enters the battlefield, its trigger exiles Aang, the Last Airbender, allowing you to cast it right back out of exile. When Aang, the Last Airbender hits the field, its own entry trigger turns right around and exiles Aang, Airbending Master to repeat the cycle infinitely. While Hamza, Guardian of Arashin doesn't directly drive the blinking sequence itself, its presence completes the engine's cost-reducing math to sustain this perpetual motion machine, flooding the board with infinite enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers along with an arbitrarily high storm count.
