How it works

1. Activate Mirage Mirror by paying 2, causing it to become a copy of Myth Unbound until end of turn.
2. Cast Faceless One from the command zone by paying 0.
3. Activate Thaumatog's second ability by sacrificing Faceless One.
4. Choose to return Faceless One to the command zone from your graveyard.
5. Resolve the ability from step 3.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns the commander zone into an endless engine by using Mirage Mirror temporarily transformed into a copy of Myth Unbound. Because Myth Unbound counts every time your commander has been cast, its static cost-reduction ability stacks with Hamza, Guardian of Arashin to make casting your commander completely free. You can then repeatedly cast Faceless One for zero mana, sacrifice it to pump Thaumatog using its enchantment-sacrificing ability, and send Faceless One right back to the command zone. Myth Unbound's second ability even draws you a card each time your commander goes home, turning your free recurrence into a bottomless well of triggers and card advantage.
