How it works

1. Pay 3 to cast Transcendence.
2. Transcendence's second ability triggers.
3. In response, pay 4 and tap Elite Arcanist to activate it, casting and resolving a copy of Stunning Reversal without paying its mana cost.
4. Resolve the Transcendence ability modified by Stunning Reversal's replacement effect, drawing seven cards and lowering your life total to 1.
5. Transcendence's last ability triggers.
6. In response, discard a card to activate Mind Over Matter, untapping Elite Arcanist.
7. Discard a card to activate Mind Over Matter again, untapping a land you control.
8. Tap that land to add 1.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 at least four additional times, resulting in at least 5 available.
10. Resolve Transcendence's ability, gaining at least 38 life.
11. Repeat steps 2 through 10 until there are six or fewer cards remaining in your library, Laboratory Maniac is in your graveyard, and Betrayal of Flesh is in your hand.
12. Transcendence's second ability triggers.
13. In response, pay 5 to cast Betrayal of Flesh, returning Laboratory Maniac from your graveyard to the battlefield.
14. Pay 4 and tap Elite Arcanist to activate it, casting and resolving a copy of Stunning Reversal without paying its mana cost.
15. Resolve the Transcendence ability modified by Stunning Reversal's and Laboratory Maniac's replacement effects, winning the game.
