How it works

  1. Cast Astral Dragon by paying 6U manaU mana.
  2. When Astral Dragon enters the battlefield, it, Ganax and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
  3. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, choosing to return nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
  4. Resolve the Astral Dragon trigger, creating two copies of any noncreature nonartifact permanent that are 3/3 Dragons.
  5. When the Dragons enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio and Ganax each trigger twice.
  6. Resolve the first Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Astral Dragon from the battlefield to your hand.
  7. Resolve the second Cloudstone Curio trigger, choosing to return nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
  8. Resolve all Ganax triggers, creating six Treasure artifact tokens.
  9. Activate four Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 6U manaU mana.
  10. Repeat.

This spectacular dragon loop turns your entire mana-producing engine into an infinite spectacle by leveraging Cloudstone Curio to constantly bounce and replay Astral Dragon. Whenever Astral Dragon re-enters the battlefield, it fuels Ganax, Astral Hunter to flood the board with Treasure tokens, which are further doubled and supercharged by Jolene, the Plunder Queen and Goldspan Dragon to comfortably pay for the re-casting costs.
