How it works
- Cast Clone by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter as a copy of Princess Yue.
- Put Clone into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
- When Clone dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a land named Moon. Choose to have it enter as a copy of Astral Dragon, gaining its abilities.
- When Clone enters, it triggers, creating two token copies of itself, thus creating two copies of Moon with Astral Dragon's abilities, that are 3/3 Dragon creatures in addition to its other types.
- Put all but one of the Clones into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
- The Clone tokens each trigger. Resolve a trigger, creating two token copies of itself, thus creating two copies of Moon with Astral Dragon's abilities, that are 3/3 Dragon creatures in addition to its other types.
- Repeat from step 5.
This brilliant loop kicks off when Clone enters the battlefield copying Princess Yue, allowing the legend rule to instantly send it to the graveyard. That death triggers Princess Yue's inherent resurrection clause, bringing Clone back to the battlefield tapped as a land named Moon, which you then choose to have copy Astral Dragon. As this newly transformed Astral Dragon enters the battlefield, its Project Image ability triggers to create two token copies of itself, which are simultaneously lands named Moon with Astral Dragon's abilities and 3/3 flying Dragons due to the layers of copying. The legend rule immediately sweeps away all but one of these new tokens, but their entry triggers a cascading chain of infinite creature tokens, infinite death triggers, and infinite landfall triggers.
