How it works

1. Cause a green creature to enter the battlefield under your control.
2. Sylvan Anthem triggers, causing you to scry 1.
3. Arwen Undómiel triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
4. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns the simple act of a green creature entering the battlefield into an explosive cascade of growth. Thanks to Sylvan Anthem, that arrival triggers an immediate scry 1, which in turn fires off Arwen Undómiel's static-adjacent triggered ability to place a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth. Because those counters land on Herd Baloth, its own ability springs to life to create a 4/4 green Beast token—which is itself a green creature entering the battlefield, restarting the entire cycle. Sylvan Anthem also passively buffs your green creatures along the way, turning your infinite scry triggers into a mountain of stats and beasts.
