How it works

  1. Pay 2 to Mirage Mirror to have it become a copy of Myth Unbound until end of turn.
  2. Cast Rograkh from the command zone by paying 0.
  3. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Rograkh, returning Rograkh to the command zone.
  4. When Rograkh enters the command zone, both copies of Myth Unbound trigger, causing you to draw two cards.
  5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 3, accomplishing nothing.
  6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns the zero-mana cost of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh into a recursive engine by using Altar of Dementia to repeatedly send him back to the command zone. To make this profitable, Mirage Mirror steps in by temporarily becoming a copy of Myth Unbound; because you already control a real Myth Unbound, having two copies active simultaneously means every return to the command zone triggers both enchantments to draw you two cards. By continuously recasting your commander for free and sacrificing him to the altar, you feed the mirrored enchantment into an endless loop of card draw and command zone triggers.
