How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Danitha, adding CC.
2. When Danitha dies, Fungal Fortitude triggers, returning Danitha from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
3. When Danitha enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Fungal Fortitude from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Danitha.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Ashnod's Altar into an infinite mana engine by exploiting a recursive loop of triggers between the graveyard and the battlefield. Whenever you sacrifice Danitha, Benalia's Hope to the Altar for two colorless mana, Fungal Fortitude steps in to return her straight from the graveyard to the battlefield, setting off her own entry trigger. That entry trigger immediately loops Fungal Fortitude right back out of the graveyard to enchant her once again, leaving you ready to repeat the entire cycle.
