How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Danitha.
2. When Danitha dies, Fungal Fortitude triggers, returning Danitha from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
3. When Danitha enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Fungal Fortitude from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Danitha.
4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Danitha's power.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Danitha, Benalia's Hope into an endless sacrifice engine by leaning on her unique enter-the-battlefield ability to keep recurring her own resurrection. When you sacrifice Danitha to Altar of Dementia, Fungal Fortitude steps in with its delayed trigger to bring her right back from the graveyard. As Danitha re-enters the battlefield, her triggered ability immediately plucks Fungal Fortitude back out of the graveyard and attaches it to her once more, resetting the entire cycle and fueling the Altar to mill your opponent's entire library away.
