How it works

1. Activate Aphetto Alchemist by tapping it, untapping itself.
2. Wake Thrasher triggers, getting +1/+1 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious little loop turns a simple self-targeting trick into a towering threat by letting Aphetto Alchemist continuously tap and untap itself. Because the Alchemist targets itself to untap, you can repeat the activation endlessly without needing any outside permanents. Every single time the Alchemist untaps itself, Wake Thrasher's passive ability notices the permanent becoming untapped and triggers, stacking up +1/+1 pumps until end of turn. The result is a single massive attacker that can instantly overwhelm an opponent out of nowhere.
