How it works
During an opponent's turn, activate Heart of Kiran by tapping Wylie Duke.
Wylie Duke triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life.
The Watcher's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
Resolve the Heart of Kiran ability, causing it to become a creature until end of turn.
Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the Tentacle.
When the Tentacle dies, The Watcher's second ability triggers, untapping Wylie Duke and putting a stun counter on up to one permanent.
Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
Repeat.
This intricate loop turns an opponent's turn into an engine for endless resources by bridging creatures and artifacts together. Xenograft is the adhesive here, turning your entire team into Krakens so that The Watcher in the Water can recognize the creatures you sacrifice. By using Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero to crew Heart of Kiran, you repeatedly tap Wylie Duke to draw cards—which in turn fuels The Watcher in the Water's token generation. Finally, Carrion Feeder acts as the executioner, sacrificing those Tentacle tokens to trigger The Watcher in the Water's untap ability, freeing Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero to do it all over again.
