How it works

1. Draw a card.
2. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
3. Activate the Insect by tapping it and discarding a card, causing you to draw a card.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop starts turning when you draw a card, causing The Locust God to trigger and forge a 1/1 flying insect token. Because Xenograft is busy declaring "Sliver" as the chosen creature type, that newly minted token immediately inherits the Sliver subtype alongside its other types. This grants it access to Hollowhead Sliver's activated ability, allowing you to tap the token and discard a card to draw a fresh one—which loops right back into The Locust God to spawn another bug. You can churn through this entire sequence as many times as you like, generating an overwhelming swarm of hasty attackers while filtering through your deck.
