How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Xenograft, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This intricate engine starts with Xenograft naming "Dwarf," which transforms all your creatures into Dwarves so that Magda, Brazen Outlaw triggers whenever any of them are tapped. Thanks to Citanul Hierophants, every creature gains a tap ability to fuel this loop, and Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu lets those creatures ignore summoning sickness while also turning its own tap ability into a mana source for abilities. Whenever a creature taps, Stridehangar Automaton intercepts the resulting Treasure creation to generously double your token output by throwing in an extra Thopter. With an endless supply of newly minted Treasures and creatures tapping and untapping, you can eventually sacrifice five Treasures to Magda's final ability and tutor every artifact and Dragon straight from your library onto the battlefield.
