How it works
- Activate a creature by tapping it.
- Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Xenograft, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
- Repeat.
This clever engine begins by letting you tap any creature for mana thanks to Cryptolith Rite, while Smellerbee, Rebel Fighter grants your entire board haste so they can jump right into the action. Because Xenograft redefines every creature you control as a Dwarf, tapping that creature to tap-for-mana causes Magda, Brazen Outlaw to trigger and manufacture a Treasure token. That is where Stridehangar Automaton steps in to supercharge the loop: whenever an artifact token like a Treasure is created, the Automaton adds an extra 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token to the mix. You can continuously tap your new Thopters—which are also Dwarves thanks to Xenograft—to fuel Cryptolith Rite, generating infinite colored mana, infinite artifacts, and endless Magda triggers. Finally, you can cash in five of those accumulated Treasures to tutor every artifact and a subset of Dragons straight from your library onto the battlefield to finish the game.
