How it works
Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
When Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield, Lathliss triggers.
Holding priority, activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
Resolve the Lathliss trigger, creating a 5/5 Dragon creature token.
When the Dragon enters the battlefield, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop transforms a humble graveyard return into an endless dragon-forging machine by turning every piece into a dragon in disguise. Xenograft ensures that Phantom Train and Bladewing's Thrall count as Dragons the moment they touch the battlefield, turning the Train into a convenient sacrifice outlet. When you cast Bladewing's Thrall, Lathliss, Dragon Queen watches it enter and triggers to make a token, but before that trigger resolves, you sacrifice the Thrall to Phantom Train. That new Dragon token then triggers the Thrall's graveyard ability, bringing it right back to repeat the cycle and grow the Train infinitely.
