How it works

1. Activate Fain's first ability by tapping it and sacrificing a creature.
2. When the creature dies, Rotlung Reanimator and Fain trigger.
3. Resolve the Rotlung Reanimator trigger, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
4. Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it.
5. Resolve the Fain ability from step 1, putting two +1/+1 counters on a creature you control.
6. Repeat.

This clever engine turns Fain, the Broker into a relentless recycling plant by leveraging Xenograft to turn every creature you control into a Cleric and a Shaman. Because of this shared heritage, every time Fain sacrifices a creature to fuel its own growth, Rotlung Reanimator steps in to raise a fresh Zombie in its place. Meanwhile, Thornbite Staff equips itself automatically to the Shaman-turned-Fain and grants it an untap trigger whenever anything dies, keeping Fain fresh and ready to repeat the cycle. The result is an infinite loop of sacrifices, deaths, and entries that floods your board with endless +1/+1 counters and triggers.
