How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies as a Cleric due to Xenograft, Rotlung Reanimator triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
4. Repeat.

This loop transforms the synergy of the battlefield into an endless supply of tribute for Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, using Xenograft to rewrite the very nature of your creatures so that every sacrifice feeds the engine. With Xenograft declaring all your creatures to be Clerics, the presence of Rotlung Reanimator ensures that every time you sacrifice one of those creatures to Shilgengar's first ability, its death immediately triggers the creation of a 2/2 black Zombie token. That fresh Zombie is itself swept up by Xenograft's blanket type-change, meaning it too enters as a Cleric ready to be sacrificed right back to Shilgengar, which continuously yields a stream of Blood tokens.
