How it works

1. Cast Wick either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 3 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. When Wick enters the battlefield, it triggers.
3. Holding priority, if you control a Snail, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the Snail, putting a +1/+1 counter on Umbral Collar Zealot.
4. If needed, repeat step 3 until you do not control a Snail.
5. Resolve the Wick trigger, creating a 1/1 Snail creature token.
6. When the Snail enters the battlefield as a Rat due to Xenograft, Wick triggers.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop relies on Xenograft to completely rewrite the biological rules of your battlefield, turning every creature you control into a Rat alongside its other types. Because of this sweeping type-change, the Snail token created by Wick, the Whorled Mind immediately enters as a Rat, which triggers Wick all over again to make another Snail whenever one leaves. You then feed that Snail to Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability, fueling endless surveil while clearing your board so Wick's entry trigger can safely fire anew.
