How it works

1. During your upkeep step, activate Scroll of Fate by tapping it, manifesting Wormfang Manta from your hand.
2. Pay 5 to turn Wormfang Manta face up.
3. Activate Words of Wind by paying 1.
4. In your draw step, Words of Wind's ability replaces your draw, instead causing you to return Wormfang Manta from the battlefield to your hand and causing each other player to return a permanent to their hand.
5. Wormfang Manta's LTB ability triggers, creating an extra turn after this one.
6. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop revolves around managing Wormfang Manta’s punishing entry trigger by continuously cycling it in and out of play. By using Scroll of Fate to sneak the Manta onto the battlefield face down, you completely bypass its drawback of skipping your next turn. Once it is turned face up, Words of Wind steps in during your draw step to replace your card draw, bouncing the Manta back to your hand while forcing opponents to helplessly clear their own boards. Because Wormfang Manta leaves the battlefield in the process, its leaves-the-battlefield ability triggers to grant you an extra turn, setting you up to repeat the entire process indefinitely.
