How it works

1. Activate Scroll of Fate by tapping it, manifesting Wormfang Manta from your hand.
2. Pay 5 to turn Wormfang Manta face up.
3. Activate Wizard Mentor by tapping it, returning itself and Wormfang Manta from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Wormfang Manta's LTB ability triggers, creating an extra turn after this one.
5. Cast Wizard Mentor by paying 2.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the self-sabotaging drawback of Wormfang Manta into a gateway for infinite turns. By using Scroll of Fate to sneak the Manta onto the battlefield face down, you completely bypass its enters-the-battlefield trigger that would normally cause you to skip your turn. Once you pay to turn the Manta face up, Wizard Mentor steps in to bounce both itself and the Manta back to your hand with its tap ability. This departure triggers the Manta's leaves-the-battlefield ability to grant you an extra turn, leaving you free to recast Wizard Mentor, replay the Manta face down with Scroll of Fate, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
