How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Golgari Thug, adding B/R.
  2. Golgari Thug dies, putting itself on top of your library from your graveyard .
  3. Activate all mana-producing creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 3B/R.
  4. Activate Hidetsugu's second ability by paying 2R mana and tapping it, exiling Golgari Thug from the top of your library with the ability to cast it from exile this turn, and dealing 2 damage to any target.
  5. Cast Golgari Thug from exile by paying 1B mana.
  6. Golgari Thug enters the battlefield, triggering Intruder Alarm, untapping all creatures.
  7. Repeat.
