How it works
Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying 5 plus commander tax if applicable.
As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters on Sin.
Activate Arbor Adherent by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to Sin's toughness.
Activate Aura of Dominion by paying 1 and tapping Sin, untapping Arbor Adherent.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding CC.
Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
When Sin dies, it triggers, putting its counters on Arbor Adherent.
Activate Arbor Adherent by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to its power.
Repeat.
This intricate engine scales exponentially by leveraging Sin, Unending Cataclysm’s unique entry ability to harvest a massive pile of +1/+1 counters from your own permanents, inflating its toughness into a towering stat-line. Once Sin enters the battlefield, you tap Arbor Adherent—whose second ability generates mana equal to that monstrous toughness—to pay the cost for Aura of Dominion, tapping Sin to untap the mana dork and keep the loop fluid. Ashnod's Altar then provides the necessary outlet to sacrifice Sin for colorless mana, allowing you to cycle your commander back to hand or the command zone so you can recast it and reset the counter-harvesting process. As Sin dies, its trigger dumps all of those accumulated counters directly onto Arbor Adherent, permanently supercharging the dork's toughness to fuel even greater mana production with every subsequent iteration.
