How it works

  1. Activate Grimgrin by sacrificing another creature.
  2. When the creature dies, Eloise's first ability triggers, and Eloise's second ability triggers if the creature was a token.
  3. Resolve the first Eloise trigger, creating either a 2/2 Cat or a 3/1 Dog creature token due to Jinnie Fay.
  4. Resolve the second Eloise trigger, if applicable, causing you to surveil 1.
  5. Resolve the Grimgrin ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  6. Repeat.
