How it works

  1. Activate Grimgrin by sacrificing Karmic Guide.
  2. When Karmic Guide dies, Susurian Voidborn triggers, causing an opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  3. Resolve the Grimgrin ability.
  4. Activate Grimgrin by sacrificing Junji.
  5. When Junji dies, it and Susurian Voidborn trigger.
  6. Resolve the Susurian Voidborn trigger, causing an opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  8. When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Resolve the Grimgrin ability.
  10. Repeat.
