How it works
- Activate Emry by tapping it, targeting Lion's Eye Diamond.
- Cast Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard by paying 0.
- Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Great Oak Guardian.
- When Great Oak Guardian enters, it triggers, untapping all creatures you control and giving them +2/+2 until end of turn.
- Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by discarding your hand and sacrificing it.
- Repeat.
This fascinating loop turns Emry, Lurker of the Loch into an engine by utilizing her ability to repeatedly pull Lion's Eye Diamond from the graveyard. Each time you recast the artifact, Displacer Kitten's avoidance trigger blinks Great Oak Guardian, whose entering-the-battlefield ability untaps Emry and any other creatures you control. This allows you to tap Emry anew and sacrifice Lion's Eye Diamond for mana in response to its casting, generating infinite colored mana, storm count, and infinitely large creatures.
