How it works
- Activate Emry by tapping it, targeting Tormod's Crypt.
- Cast Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard by paying 0.
- Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Great Oak Guardian.
- When Great Oak Guardian enters, it triggers, untapping all creatures you control and giving them +2/+2 until end of turn.
- Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns graveyard recycling into an endless engine by leveraging Emry, Lurker of the Loch to repeatedly pull Tormod's Crypt from the graveyard for free. Each time you cast the zero-mana artifact, Displacer Kitten's avoidance ability triggers, blinking Great Oak Guardian so it can enter the battlefield and untap Emry along with your other creatures. Tormod's Crypt is uniquely suited here because its own sacrifice ability clears it right back into the graveyard, ready for Emry to target once again.
