How it works

1. Activate Cabal Coffers by paying 2 and tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
3. Locus of Enlightenment triggers, copying Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Cabal Coffers.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping it and Cabal Coffers.
5. Repeat.

By transforming The Enigma Jewel into Locus of Enlightenment, you unlock a terrifying nexus of activated abilities borrowed from your graveyard and permanents. Because Locus of Enlightenment copies every non-mana activated ability you trigger, activating Deserted Temple to untap itself simultaneously lets you copy that untap effect to target Cabal Coffers. With Cabal Coffers heavily tapping into your Swamps for massive black mana, this loop easily pays for Deserted Temple's activation cost while generating infinite black and colorless mana.
