How it works

1. Activate Cabal Stronghold's second ability by paying 3 and tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
3. Locus of Enlightenment triggers, copying Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Cabal Stronghold.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping it and Cabal Stronghold.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns a massive burst of black mana into an unstoppable engine by leveraging Locus of Enlightenment—the transformed face of The Enigma Jewel—to double every non-mana activation you make. When you tap Cabal Stronghold to generate a flood of black mana based on your basic Swamps, you use that energy alongside Deserted Temple to fuel an untap loop. The true brilliance of the combo lies in Locus of Enlightenment's triggered ability, which automatically copies the Deserted Temple's untap activation so you can simultaneously ready both the Temple and the Stronghold for the next iteration.
