How it works

1. Activate Vault of Catlacan by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
3. Locus of Enlightenment triggers, copying Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Vault of Catlacan.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping it and Vault of Catlacan.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms The Enigma Jewel into Locus of Enlightenment, granting it the activated abilities of the cards used to craft it, including Deserted Temple's vital untap capability. By tapping the transformed Vault of Catlacan (the reverse side of Storm the Vault) for massive blue mana, you can fuel Deserted Temple to target itself and trigger Locus of Enlightenment to simultaneously untap the Vault.
