How it works

1. Activate Coral Atoll by tapping it, adding C.
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
3. Locus of Enlightenment triggers, copying Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Coral Atoll.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping it and Coral Atoll.
5. Repeat.

To pull off this transformation, you first need to craft The Enigma Jewel into Locus of Enlightenment, absorbing a powerful toolkit of activated abilities from your graveyard and permanents. Once it is on the battlefield, tapping Coral Atoll provides the initial fuel of colorless and blue mana. You then activate Deserted Temple to untap itself, which conveniently triggers Locus of Enlightenment to copy that untap ability and target Coral Atoll in the process. Because every non-mana activation is doubled, this loop leaves both lands untapping and ready to be tapped again, generating infinite mana of any color your lands can produce.
