How it works

1. Activate Everglades by tapping it, adding C.
2. Activate Deserted Temple's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
3. Locus of Enlightenment triggers, copying Deserted Temple's ability, targeting Everglades.
4. Resolve both Deserted Temple abilities, untapping it and Everglades.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms The Enigma Jewel into Locus of Enlightenment, granting it the activated abilities of every card exiled to craft it—including Deserted Temple's land-untapping magic. Because Locus of Enlightenment copies any non-mana ability you activate, tapping Deserted Temple for its untap ability automatically triggers a second copy to join the stack.
