How it works

1. Cast Demonic Consultation by paying , naming Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and thus exiling your library due to you not having a card named Jace, Wielder of Mysteries in your library.
2. Activate Jace's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, causing target player to mill two cards and you to win the game due to drawing from an empty library.

This sleek two-card sequence relies on Demonic Consultation's precise library-searching mechanic to instantly clear your entire deck from the game by naming a card that simply isn't there. Once your library is completely emptied by that dark bargain, you simply turn to Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. By activating Jace's plus-one loyalty ability to draw a card, his static replacement effect immediately steps in to turn what would have been a loss from decking out into an instant victory.
