How it works

  1. Cast The Master by paying U manaB mana.
  2. When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry and create at least two Treasure tokens.
  3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding B mana.
  4. Activate The Master by paying B mana and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
  5. When Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
  6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding B mana.
  7. Activate Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry by paying B mana and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
  8. Repeat from step 2.

This infinite loop is an ingenious dance of graveyard recursion and constant transformation, fueled by the cost-reduction mastery of Zirda, the Dawnwaker. The engine kicks off when The Master, Formed Anew enters and exiles Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry, setting the stage to trade places with Ruthless Technomancer. Because Ruthless Technomancer's reanimation ability normally costs {2}{B}, Zirda, the Dawnwaker steps in to slash that activation cost down to just {1}{B}, allowing a single sacrificed Treasure token to pay the entire bill. As The Master and Mirrorhall Mimic continuously copy Ruthless Technomancer upon returning to the battlefield, they feed their own sacrifices right back into the loop to generate endless enters-the-battlefield, death, and sacrifice triggers.
