How it works

1. Cast The Master either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus command tax, if applicable, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
2. When The Master enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice Mirrorhall Mimic and create at least two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
4. Activate The Master by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning Mirrorhall Mimic from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of The Master, which causes the Mirrorhall Mimic to be a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
5. When Mirrorhall Mimic enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice The Master and create two Treasure tokens.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Mirrorhall Mimic by paying and sacrificing a Treasure, returning The Master from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This cunning recursion loop hinges on Training Grounds discount, which reduces the mana cost of The Master, Formed Anew: Body Thief's activated ability from `{2}{B}` down to just `{1}{B}`—making it cheap enough to activate using a single Treasure token. When The Master enters as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer, it sacrifices Mirrorhall Mimic to generate the initial Treasures needed to fund the engine. That sacrifice drops Mirrorhall Mimic (or its back face, Ghastly Mimicry) into the graveyard, setting it up to be reanimated by the Technomancer ability. As the two creatures continually resurrect each other and alternate entering as a copy of Ruthless Technomancer, you generate endless sacrifices and death triggers.
