How it works

1. Cast Shrieking Drake by paying .
2. Chulane triggers, causing you to draw a card and put Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
3. Izzet Boilerworks enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Lotus Cobra.
4. Resolve the Lotus Cobra trigger, adding .
5. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Shrieking Drake enters the battlefield, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns the modest bounce effect of Shrieking Drake into a powerful engine by leaning on Chulane, Teller of Tales to cheat lands directly into play whenever you cast a creature. As Izzet Boilerworks enters the battlefield, its own mandatory bounce trigger immediately picks itself back up, while Lotus Cobra uses that landfall moment to generate the blue mana needed to restart the cycle. The Drake then bounces itself back to your hand upon resolving, allowing you to recast it indefinitely to draw your entire deck and trigger these interconnected abilities an arbitrary number of times.
