How it works

1. Play Guildless Commons.
2. When Guildless Commons enters the battlefield, it, Zendikar's Roil, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Guildless Commons trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Zendikar's Roil trigger, creating a token.
6. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers, putting Guildless Commons from your hand onto the battlefield.
7. When Guildless Commons enters the battlefield, it and Zendikar's Roil trigger.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This loop transforms a simple land drop into an endless cycle of creation, anchored by the mechanical harmony of your board. When you play Guildless Commons, its bounce ability and Zendikar's Roil both trigger alongside Kodama of the East Tree, setting the stage for perpetual motion. As Zendikar's Roil churns out Elemental tokens with each landfall, every new creature entering the battlefield triggers Kodama of the East Tree's ability to cheat Guildless Commons right back into play from your hand. Because Guildless Commons naturally returns itself to your hand upon entry, you can endlessly replay the land to sustain the triggers, flooding the board with infinite tokens.
