How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Rakdos Carnarium from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Rakdos Carnarium enters the battlefield, it and Nissa trigger.
3. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Nissa trigger, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple bounce land into a self-sustaining engine, powered entirely by Patron of the Moon's ability to drop lands straight from your hand for just one mana. When Rakdos Carnarium hits the battlefield, its entry trigger forces it right back to your hand while simultaneously triggering Nissa, Resurgent Animist to yield a mana of any color and eventually tutor up your Elves and Elementals. Because Patron of the Moon can then immediately redeploy Rakdos Carnarium using the generated mana and spare change, you can repeat the cycle endlessly for infinite landfall triggers.
