How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Izzet Boilerworks enters the battlefield, it and Nissa trigger.
3. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Nissa trigger, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a self-bouncing bounce land into an infinite engine by leveraging Patron of the Moon's ability to repeatedly drop Izzet Boilerworks straight from your hand. Each time the Boilerworks enters the battlefield, its own triggered ability forces it right back to your hand while simultaneously triggering Nissa, Resurgent Animist's landfall ability to generate a continuous stream of mana. Because Patron of the Moon only asks for one mana to fuel its activation while Nissa's mana production funds the process entirely, you generate infinite landfall triggers with zero net cost.
