How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Arid Archway from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Arid Archway enters the battlefield, it and Nissa trigger.
3. Resolve the Arid Archway trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Nissa trigger, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Arid Archway's self-bouncing drawback into a perpetual motion machine, fueled by Patron of the Moon's ability to effortlessly drop lands back onto the battlefield for just one mana. Every time Arid Archway enters, its own trigger dutifully bounces it right back to your hand so it can be replayed, creating an endless cycle of land drops. Meanwhile, Nissa, Resurgent Animist watches each of these entries to generate a mana of any color and dig through your library for Elves and Elementals, letting you churn through your deck while easily paying for the repeated activations.
