How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Azorius Chancery from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Azorius Chancery enters the battlefield, it and Tireless Provisioner trigger.
3. Resolve the Azorius Chancery trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Tireless Provisioner trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This charming loop transforms the simple bounce mechanic of Azorius Chancery into a perpetual motion machine, fueled by Patron of the Moon's ability to repeatedly drop the land back onto the battlefield for a single mana. As Azorius Chancery enters over and over, its triggered ability returns it safely to your hand while Tireless Provisioner's landfall ability watches the action and generously rewards every single land drop with a fresh Treasure token. By sacrificing that very Treasure for the mana needed to activate Patron of the Moon again, the whole engine sustains itself indefinitely and generates infinite landfall triggers.
