How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Boros Garrison from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Boros Garrison enters the battlefield, it and Lotus Cobra trigger.
3. Resolve the Boros Garrison trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Lotus Cobra trigger, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple Moonfolk deity into an endless engine of landfall triggers by weaponizing the bounce mechanic of a Ravnica bounceland. With Patron of the Moon sitting on your battlefield, its ability allows you to constantly cheat Boros Garrison into play for a single mana. Each time the Garrison drops, Lotus Cobra swoops in to generate mana that helps fund the loop, while the Garrison's own enters-the-battlefield trigger forces it right back to your hand so it can be played all over again.
