How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Boros Garrison from your hand onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When Boros Garrison enters the battlefield, it and Tireless Provisioner trigger.
3. Resolve the Boros Garrison trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Tireless Provisioner trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Patron of the Moon's land-dropping ability into an engine by cycling a single bounce land, Boros Garrison, right back to your hand. Each time Boros Garrison enters the battlefield, its own return trigger safely retrieves it while simultaneously triggering Tireless Provisioner's landfall ability to forge a Treasure token. You then crack that freshly minted Treasure for the mana needed to fuel Patron of the Moon's activation once more, sustaining an infinite cycle of land drops and token generation.
