How it works

1. Activate Lluwen by paying 2B/GB/GB/G, tapping it and discarding Dakmor Salvage, creating a 1/1 Wurm creature token for each land card in your graveyard.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar five times by sacrificing five Wurms, adding 2B/GB/GB/G.
3. When the Wurms die, Tresserhorn's Lord and Lluwen trigger five times each.
4. Resolve all Lluwen triggers, untapping it.
5. Resolve the first Tresserhorn's Lord trigger, instead choosing to mill two cards and return Dakmor Salvage from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve all remaining Tresserhorn's Lord triggers, drawing as many cards as desired.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop leverages Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist to turn a graveyard full of lands into a crawling swarm of Wurm tokens, which can then be fed directly into Phyrexian Altar to fund the ability's steep mana cost. As those tokens perish, Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned steps in with its card-drawing trigger—which you can smartly replace with Dakmor Salvage's dredge ability to continually recycle lands right back to your hand for Lluwen to discard. Meanwhile, Thornbite Staff rests quietly in the background, ready to automatically snap onto Lluwen the moment it re-enters the battlefield as a Shaman to keep the engine primed and ready.
