How it works

1. During your precombat main phase, cast Supernatural Stamina by paying , targeting Xiahou Dun.
2. Activate Xiahou Dun by sacrificing it, targeting Supernatural Stamina.
3. When Xiahou Dun dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Xiahou Dun trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Xiahou Dun ability from step 2, returning Supernatural Stamina from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
8. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed into an endlessly recurring engine, fueled entirely by the black mana he generates when he hits the graveyard. Pitiless Plunderer plays a vital passive role here, watching from the sidelines to turn Xiahou Dun's sacrifice into a steady stream of Treasure tokens that pay for the entire cycle. Meanwhile, Supernatural Stamina provides the initial supernatural push to keep the cycle going, and since Xiahou Dun's own activated ability lets you pluck Supernatural Stamina right back out of your graveyard into your hand, you have all the pieces needed to repeat this sequence indefinitely.
