How it works
- Activate Jungle Basin and up to three other lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
- Activate Adagia by paying 3 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Treachery that is legendary attached to any creature.
- If you control two legendary Treachery permanents, put one into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
- The Treachery token's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, untapping Adagia, Jungle Basin and up to three other lands.
- Repeat.
This intricate engine leverages Adagia, Windswept Bastion's high-tier station ability to continually duplicate Treachery, turning the Aura's entering-the-battlefield trigger into a massive untap ritual. Because the copied Treachery enters the battlefield fresh, its ability untaps Adagia, Windswept Bastion itself alongside Jungle Basin and your other lands to refund the mana needed to keep the loop going. While the legend rule naturally sends excess copies of the legendary Treachery tokens to the graveyard, it gracefully clears the board for the next iteration. Jungle Basin plays a vital role by not only contributing its own mana to fuel the activation costs, but also acting as a resilient piece that gets repeatedly refreshed by the cascading untap triggers.
