How it works

1. Cast Time Walk to take an extra turn.
2. Pay 5, tap Codex Shredder and sacrifice it to return Time Walk from your graveyard to your hand.
3. Attack with Silas Renn, dealing combat damage.
4. Cast Codex Shredder from your graveyard.
5. Pass the turn.
6. Repeat.

This Vintage-legal loop takes advantage of the recurring value provided by Silas Renn, Seeker Adept, whose combat damage trigger lets you cast an artifact card from your graveyard each turn. By casting Time Walk, you secure the extra turns necessary to facilitate the attacks and resource regeneration. The engine is glued together by Codex Shredder, which not only provides the self-sacrificing recursion needed to buy back Time Walk for five mana, but can also be recast right back onto the battlefield from your graveyard using Silas Renn's ability to keep the cycle intact.
