The Chain Veil

How it works

1. Activate The Chain Veil by paying 4 and tapping it, allowing all planeswalkers you control to activate their loyalty abilities and additional time this turn.
2. Activate Teferi's second loyalty ability by removing a loyalty counter from it, untapping the Chain Veil and the three mana-producing permanents.
3. Repeat from step 1 until Teferi dies due to having zero loyalty.
4. Cast Teferi from your command zone.
5. Activate Teferi's first loyalty ability by adding a loyalty counter to it, looking at the top two cards of your library and putting one card from the top of your library into your hand and the other onto the bottom of your library.
6. Do this x times, where x is equal to one half times the number of times you activated The Chain Veil this turn minus four, rounded down.
7. Activate Teferi's second loyalty ability, untapping the Chain Veil and the three mana-producing permanents.
8. Repeat step 7 an additional time.
9. Activate Teferi's second loyalty ability by untapping the three mana producing permanents and the additional mana producing permanent, adding 4.
10. Repeat step 9 until Teferi dies due to having zero loyalty.
11. Repeat from step 4.

This classic Commander engine turns Teferi, Temporal Archmage and The Chain Veil into an endless recursion of planeswalker activations. By using Teferi's untap ability to repeatedly refresh The Chain Veil alongside enough mana-producing permanents to cover the activation cost, you bypass the restriction on loyalty abilities. As you loop this sequence, Teferi can be continuously recast from the command zone and its first ability used to filter through your entire library, while the surplus untaps generate infinite colored and colorless mana.
