How it works

1. Cast Doomsday by paying , searching your library and graveyard for any five other cards, exiling all other cards from your graveyard and library, and then placing the remaining cards on top of your library and losing half your life, rounded up.
2. Cast Windfall by paying 2, causing each player to discard their hand, and causing you to win the game due to drawing from an empty library.

This lethal sequence relies on Doomsday to surgically curate your library down to just a single card—Windfall—while Jace, Wielder of Mysteries sits safely on the battlefield awaiting your victory. Once Doomsday has stripped your library and graveyard bare and stacked your deck, casting Windfall forces you to draw cards from a completely empty library. Instead of losing the game to drawing from an empty deck, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries's static replacement effect steps in to instantly translate that empty-library draw into a glorious win.
