How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Bloodsoaked Champion, adding .
2. When Bloodsoaked Champion dies, Totentanz triggers, creating a 1/1 Rat creature token.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Rat, adding 1.
4. Activate Bloodsoaked Champion by paying 1, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop starts by using Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice Bloodsoaked Champion, converting the creature into black mana while sending it to the graveyard. Each time Bloodsoaked Champion dies, Totentanz, Swarm Piper triggers to replace it by creating a 1/1 Rat token, which can then be sacrificed to the same Altar to generate the mana needed to bring the Champion right back via its raid ability. Because Totentanz, Swarm Piper also turns the Champion's return into a self-sustaining engine of perpetual life and death, you get an endless cascade of triggers without ever running out of fodder.
